Dietetic Internship Admissions
The Dietetic Internship is a competitive program open to students who have completed a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) and earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Our program participates in online matching through Dietetic Internship Centralized Application Services (DICAS) and Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Internship Matching Service. Applications must be submitted through those services by February 15. The program is limited to a maximum of six students per year.
General Admission Requirements
The admissions committee will be looking for the following when evaluating your application:
- Completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACEND-accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD)
- Overall undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 with a minimum of a "B" in all dietetics courses
- Quality of personal statement
- Quality of experience in dietetics
- Quality of References
