Mediterranean Diet in Italy - Continuing Education Opportunity!

It is with sadness, but out of an abundance of caution, that we announce the “Mediterranean Diet from and Italian Perspective” conference will be postponed until November 8-12, 2021. We are planning to keep the same topics and speakers for 2021, so it is not cancelled, but simply postponed. We will be together in 2021 to celebrate Italian culture and health.

Join us in Florence and earn continuing education credits! The Mediterranean Diet from an Italian Perspective is presented by UConn's School of Pharmacy, Department of Allied Health Sciences, and Office of Global Affairs - Education Abroad. This knowledge and application-based continuing education opportunity is designed for US pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and dietitians.

Session topics include historical, anthropological, and pharmaceutical perspectives on the Mediterranean Diet; the Mediterranean Diet and our microbiome; Mediterranean Diet and health. In addition to educational sessions, participants will be able to select excursions to enhance their experience and learning.
